![]() ![]() This charrette is only one step in a comprehensive development process which began with the adoption of the City's Urban Commercial Overlay, which prescribes standards for restoring walkable urban neighborhoods in Columbus's central city neighborhoods. The next step was the creation and adoption of the Near East Area Plan which was developed by the Plannning Division of the City and a large group of stakeholders under the auspices of the Near East Area Commission and adopted by Columbus City Council.
